4/ How did the developments in these areas affect the way the war was fought and its outcome?

5/ In what ways did the developments in weaponry and technology affect the nature of war away from the battlefield?

Don't worry about a detailed summary of the siege of Sebastopol or the battle of Balaklava - we will look at these in more detail when we come back after half term.
